50 States of Preservation The NEH has written an article on the Swenson Center’s Preservation Assistance Grant and the impact it has had on our preservation practices. These grants fund projects that help safeguard photographs, letters, documents, artifacts, and more, making them available for future generations.

Location The Swenson Center is located in Denkmann Memorial Hall on Augustana College's campus in Rock Island, IL.


Hours Monday-Friday 9:00am-12:00pm & 1:00pm-4:30pm. **Please make an appointment.** During the summer, the Center closes at 12:00pm on Fridays.
