Augustana College recognizes the importance of recreational activity for all of the campus community and made a commitment to the community's needs with the construction of the PepsiCo Recreation Center. A $1 million gift from the PepsiCo Foundation helped Augustana construct this building, which features 40,000 square feet of gymnasium floor encircled by an 6-lane, 200-meter track. The center also houses:

-Three regulation basketball courts (one also accomodates tennis)
-Two racquetball courts
-Four volleyball courts
-Men's and women's locker rooms
-A lounge
-1,600-square-foot weight room
-Cardiovascular equipment
-Training room

PepsiCo is home to over 45 intramural sports, 13 club sport teams, a variety of health & wellness classes, and holds open rec hours for students to enjoy the facilities.
