Read receipts are now a possibility within our Google Apps Email system. There is now a Request return receipt link next to the Add Cc and Add Bcc links under the To: email field when composing a new mail message.
Click the link and then check the Request read receipt box and a read receipt will automatically be generated when a recipient opens the message.
Read receipts will be displayed within the sent message they were attached to located within your Sent Mail. You can expand the view by clicking on the (+) sign next to the read receipts, it will expand the listing showing everyone that has opened it, time and date.
