A window inside life at Augustana College

See ya fall, hello frigid temps

Sorry for not posting last week but it was our fall break (Augie has 3 terms which are 10 weeks long) so I was little busy, plus I really had nothing new to report since my last post.  My break was wonderful and so relaxing.   I caught up on all of the sleep I lost throughout the term!  I visited my friend who goes to Monmouth College and my mom and I spent a day at the Aurora Outlet mall 🙂  It was a lot of fun and nice to spend time with my family and friends.

Classes started on Monday and I’m getting used to my new schedule.  This morning it was only 23 degrees when I left for class at 8:15!  That’s ridiculous!  I think winter arrived a little too abruptly.

Here are my classes for winter term (November-February):

Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Badminton (last 5 weeks) 11:30-12:20- 1 credit class

Sociology 321 American Race & Ethnic Relations 1:00-2:15

Communications 374 Media Content Analysis 2:30-3:45 (first 5 weeks)- 1 credit class

Communications 382 Interviewing 2:30-3:45 (last 5 weeks)- 1 credit class

Tuesday, Thursday

Sociology 340 Social Theory 8:30-10:20

Work in the Communications and Marketing office 10:30-12:30

Communications 402 Organizational Communication 2:30-4:20

It’s gonna be a tough term, but at least there is Thanksgiving break (next Thursday and Friday) and then Christmas break so I can catch my breath!

Well, my homework is calling my name!

Until next time,
