A window inside life at Augustana College

Fall, Football, and Friends

It’s been a while since I posted on this blog, unfortunately I’ve been very busy with football and finishing up classes for the term. The equation sort of goes like this: Week 10+ Football= Good Grades- sleep. No matter how much sleep I lose I wouldn’t trade this opportunity for anything else. I complain every so often about not having sleep or free time, but in the long run it’s worth it. Other than that this is halloween weekend at Augustana, I’ve seen some interesting costumes so far.

Here’s a list of them

Optimus Prime (homemade)

The Mario Kart characters

Osama Bin Laden with Barrack Obama and two seal team six members

Charlie Sheen

The AllState insurance guy… I cant remember his name

Oompa Loompa

Crayola Crayons

Personally, the best thing about halloween is it’s my birthday! I’ll turn twenty on Monday! Although I’m not twenty yet, I don’t think it’s gonna feel any different. Nothing cool really happens when you turn twenty. Fall is slowly getting colder and colder and the leaves are changing quickly. The trees over by Westerlin are all the same color of yellow, which is very pretty. Eventually the fall will turn to winter, and going to classes will be even harder. Walking to campus for an 8:30am in the winter is brutal sometimes. But for now, I’ll enjoy the leaves, the football, and the weather.
